A Bridge to China is a unique travel company. They plan custom heritage tours for families with adopted Chinese children. We saw this as a beautiful opportunity for A Bridge to China to connect the narrative of their own child for a poginant personal appeal and to use their own family photos from their recent cultural exchange in China. The result was far beyond what the client expected-- the story of a sentimental, relective journey, instead of a just travel brochure.
CITY YEAR RIPPLES OF HOPE GALA 2009

City Year, a national youth service program, holds a gala fundraiser each year to boost efforts throughout the community. As a former corps member, corps member mentor and community service supporter, I donated design ephemera for the event, including the night's program, event invitations, support inserts, thank you cards, and RSVP cards.
WINGMAN MOBILE BRAND 2006

We were enlisted to rename and rebrand Hestia software, a company that sells a complete mobility solution for small to medium businesses. We developed a custom font for the logotype that gives the new name Wingman a solid industrial feel. The dynamic mark evokes both the arieal roots of the name was taken from a stripped phillips screw on our conference table.
UK GAL BRAND 2006

UK Gal is a husband and wife team that invents hip acessories for kids, and they needed a brand. We included them in on our entire process from brainstorm to final design. Through a few cycles we decided an animal motif that reflected their fun, energetic audience. A clever twist on the business cards makes a memorable impression.

The Jones Bistro and Lounge, in the Maple Leaf neighborhood, boasts "Fine food without fine dining." We wanted the logo to reflect their owners' sense of humor and funky sense of style.

NCSU Commencement Program | 2003

A classmate and I were selected to produce the 2003 college of design commencement program at North Carolina State University. This was a great honor and a chance to create a playful print piece to give a nod to my fellow graduates. The awards ceremony was the night before graduation, and needed a separate program. To solve this, we designed a z-shaped fold which combined both the commencement program with the awards program.
INTELIUS ID WATCH COLLATERAL | 2005

Intelius launched IDWatch, a business that sells identity theft protection as a service to banks to offer their bank customers. The challenge was that Intelius IDWatch was primarily a consumer company, and this was the first time they were marketing to businesses to resell their products. Intelius needed to sell the idea that the banks could become the good guys in the id theft battle by providing a compelling service that protects the customers.
